Windhoek: The Beginning

Our adventure begins in Windhoek, the vibrant capital of Namibia. Known for its rich culture and history, Windhoek sets the perfect stage for our journey. Explore its bustling vibes and join a city tour, dine at Joe's Beerhouse or another of the quality eateries, and soak in the urban charm before we head north.

02
Erongo Region: Wildlife and Wonders

Our journey takes us north to the scenic Erongo region, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Near Otjiwarongo, experience the thrill of an open jeep safari, where you can spot a variety of animals ranging from the smaller springbok to rhinos and more. Venturing west, we reach the Erongo Mountains, home to the fascinating San bushman village. Learn about their ancient culture and traditions, and marvel at the Spitzkoppe mountain cluster visible in the distance. The cluster is often referred to as Namibia's Matterhorn and worthy of a visit to appreciate her beauty.

03
Swakopmund: A Coastal Retreat

Next, we head to the charming town of Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast. This delightful town offers a unique blend of Afro-European culture and colonial heritage. Stroll along its historic streets, savor delicious local cuisine, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. A few highlights of our stay here include a morning catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay, where you might spot playful dolphins, inquisitive pelicans, and seals. For the adrenaline junkies there is quad biking in the dunes and for nature lovers the well know living desert tours to join.

04
Namib Desert: Sands and Stars

As we travel south into the vast Namib Desert, we traverse the Kuiseb canyon before we cross the Tropic of Capricorn and pausing for a memorable photo. In Solitaire we linger to enjoy coffee and Solitaire's famous Apfelstrudel. In Sesriem, we indulge in two nights of luxury accommodations. Join us for an early morning tour of the stunning Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the awe-inspiring Sesriem Canyon. The play of light and shadow on the towering dunes is a sight to behold. For the energetic amongst there is a hike up Dune 45 and Big Daddy.

05
Fish River Canyon: Nature's Grandeur

Our adventure continues to Helmeringhausen and Seeheim before finally reaching the breathtaking Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world. The canyon is 620m deep and spans over 90km. Truly a sight to behold! A sunset visit provides a stunning view of the canyon's vast expanse, a perfect moment for reflection and awe.

06
Namaqualand: A Floral Spectacle

We cross the mighty Orange River before arriving in South Africa. Once back we enjoy two days riding through the stunning Namaqualand region, famous for its spectacular springtime floral display. The vibrant colors of blooming wildflowers create a surreal landscape that is a feast for the eyes. The west coast region does not often feature on travel itineraries unless its flower season, yet the empty landscape has a mystifying way of embedding its beauty into those who dares to visit the region.

Our journey culminates in the iconic city of Cape Town. Here, we explore the Cape Peninsula, including the majestic Table Mountain and the historic Cape of Good Hope.
